The Prague office of Clifford Chance has advised Československá obchodní banka (ČSOB), one of the major Czech banks, on the financing of OAMP Infrastructure and OAMP Distribution, a system of buildings providing local distribution and water management to the multimodal park situated around the Leoš Janáček International Ostrava Airport.
Ostrava Airport Multimodal Park is a multimodal logistics centre situated in close proximity to Ostrava Airport in the Mošnov Industrial Zone, with direct connections to the motorway and railway networks near the Czech, Polish, and Slovak borders. Tenants of the Park include ABB, Continental Barum, Česká pošta, DHL Automotive, Geis, Hyundai Glovis, and Rhenus Logistics.
Both OAMP Infrastructure and OAMP Distribution are owned by MICRONIX Group, which is a family-owned enterprise headquartered in Prague, with more than 50 companies in Central and Eastern Europe MICRONIX provides high-quality tailored solutions for renewable energy supply, thus contributing to the development of decentralised energy generation capacity with environmental and social responsibility.
The transaction was led by associate Tomáš Kubala, under the supervision of counsel Dominik Vojta and managing partner Miloš Felgr. The team also included junior lawyer Radek Sikora.
