Government Law College, Mumbai is going to organize the 18th edition of the D.M. Harish Memorial Government Law College International Moot Court Competition
Date: 9th – 12th February, 2017
The organizers shall invite only those Indian Universities / Colleges which had qualified to the quarter final rounds of the 17th D.M. Harish Memorial Government Law College International Moot Court Competition for participating in this edition of the competition.
Eligibility:
Students enrolled in a full-time or part-time law programme at the time of the competition are eligible to compete in the Competition. Each College / Law School / University may enter one team only.
Team Composition:
- Each team shall comprise a minimum of two members consisting of two speakers or a maximum of three members consisting of two speakers and one researcher.
- Certification shall not be awarded to a fourth member.
Registration:
- The duly completed registration form with all team details must be submitted online or sent to the Government Law College on or before 15th October, 2016 for teams participating in accordance with clause 1.1 and 1.2 and by 15th August, 2016 for teams participating in accordance with clause 1.3. No change in the names of the participants shall be permitted after the receipt of the Registration Form, except at the sole discretion of the Organizers.
- All teams shall be given a ”team code” by the Organizers on validation of their Registration Form and Demand Draft / Bankers’ Draft / Wire Transfer.
- Thereafter the teams shall use their designated “Team Code” for all correspondence with the Organizers.
- The same team code must be used by the teams during the submission of Memorials and during all the rounds of the competition.
Registration Fee:
A nominal registration fee of INR 5000 shall be charged to all the invited Indian Universities / Colleges that have been selected through the Memorial Round. A registration fee of USD 150 will be charged to all the Overseas Universities.
Accommodation:
- Accommodation will be provided to all participants on the days of the competition only i.e. 9th to 12th February, 2017.
- Teams which intend to arrive earlier are requested to inform the organizers in advance so that requisite arrangements may be made for the same. Extra charges will have to be incurred by the teams for additional days of stay.
- Accommodation shall not be provided to a fourth member.
- No accommodation will be provided to teams from Colleges in Mumbai.

30th September, 2016 by 12:00 p.m. |
The Indian Teams qualifying through the Memorial Round will be duly notified on: |
1st November, 2016 |
The deadline for submission of the soft copies for all teams: |
15th December, 2016 by 11:59 p.m. |
The deadline for submission of the hard copies of memorials for all Indian Universities: |
20th December, 2016 by 12 p.m. |
The deadline for submission of hard copies of the memorials for all Overseas Teams: |
24th December, 2016 by 12 p.m. |
