A multi-jurisdictional team from Dentons has advised New Stratus Energy Inc. (“NSE”), an industry-leading oil and gas exploitation and production company, on the acquisition of an initial 49% equity interest in Operaciones Petroleras Soledad S. de R.L. de C.V. (“OPS”), a private Mexican oil and gas company. This significant transaction includes the exclusive right for NSE to negotiate the purchase of an additional 41% of the equity interest in OPS.
