Latham & Watkins has advised Citicore Renewable Energy Corporation (CREC) on its initial public offering on the main board of the Philippine Stock Exchange (PSE). The offering comprises 1.78 billion common shares, with a 10% over-allotment option of up to 178 million secondary common shares at P2.70 per share. The capital raised will primarily be used to develop solar energy power plants.
The Latham team was led by Hong Kong partner Benjamin Carale, with associate Diana Dizon, and Singapore foreign legal counsel Margarita del Rosario. Advice was also provided on investment fund matters by Boston counsel Joel Cavanaugh; and on tax matters by New York partner Elena Romanova, with associate Jung Hyun Park* and Boston associate Tessa Young.
