Linklaters has advised DigitalBridge (the leading global alternative asset manager dedicated to investing in digital infrastructure) and Vantage Data Centers (a DigitalBridge portfolio company and their European hyperscale data centre platform), on a $9.2bn equity investment in Vantage, led by investment vehicles managed by DigitalBridge Group, Inc. and Silver Lake (a global leader in technology investing).
The investments are incremental to the recently completed €1.5bn investment by AustralianSuper in Vantage EMEA, which Linklaters advised on in 2023. They will accelerate and extend Vantage’s strategic capabilities across North America and EMEA, to continue to partner with global hyperscalers to meet unprecedented cloud and AI demand.
Daniel Law, Corporate partner at Linklaters, comments:
“It is a pleasure to have been on this journey with Vantage Data Centers and DigitalBridge, after advising them on AustralianSuper’s investment in Vantage’s EMEA platform and their investment partnership with MEAG, Infranity and DigitalBridge funds. We are delighted that our digital infrastructure platform was again able to support our clients on delivering another complex multi-jurisdictional data centre transaction.”
