Linklaters advised AviAlliance, one of the world’s leading private airport investors and managers, and its co-shareholders on the sale of Budapest Airport to a consortium consisting of Hungarian state-owned Corvinus Zrt. and French co-investor Vinci Airports. The transaction was successfully completed. All necessary regulatory approvals had been obtained before. Consequently, the transfer of ownership to the buying consortium took immediate effect. AviAlliance had been invested in the airport serving the capital of Hungary and the country itself since 2007.
