Ropes & Gray Advises Compass Diversified in $380 Million Partnership with The Honey Pot Co.

Ropes & Gray represented Compass Diversified in its definitive agreement to partner with feminine care brand The Honey Pot Company for an enterprise value of $380 million. The acquisition was announced in a Jan. 16 press release.

Compass Diversified is a publicly-traded company that maintains a portfolio of middle-market businesses across the niche industrial, branded consumer and health care sectors.

The deal team was led by private equity partners Gabrielle DiBernardi and Brandon Howald and included litigation & enforcement partner Rocky Tsai, tax partners Tristan Evans-Wilent and Benjamin Rogers, private equity partners Howard Glazer and Chau Le, life sciences regulatory & compliance partner Kellie Combs, employment partner Greg Demers, executive compensation & employee benefits partner Kyle Higley, IP transactions partner Erica Han, health care partner Jennifer Romig, data, privacy & cybersecurity partner EdMcNicholas, and real estate partner David Kaye.
