Ropes & Gray has advised NielsenIQ (NIQ), a portfolio company of Advent International, on the sale of CPS GfK to YouGov.

The divestment of CPS GfK – which completed on 9 January – addresses competition concerns by the European Commission and was a condition for the combination of NIQ and GfK. Ropes & Gray also represented NIQ in relation to the combination of NIQ and GfK, which completed in July 2023 creating the world’s leading consumer intelligence company.
