Dentons announces today the addition of Daniel Goldberg to its Venture Technology and Emerging Growth (VTG) practice as a partner in its New York Meatpacking office. Goldberg’s addition further solidifies Dentons’ position as a market leader in providing legal counsel to technology-driven ventures, emerging growth companies and venture capital firms on a unique global platform with unparalleled sector approach.
Goldberg brings clients more than 20 years of experience handling venture capital financings and M&A transactions. His practice spans the entire life cycle of technology-driven ventures, offering invaluable counsel in areas such as business formation, financing and sale transactions, as well as general corporate, employment and intellectual property matters. He represents clients across a broad range of industries including software, online media, digital technologies and consumer products. He also has significant experience working with later-stage venture capital and private equity funds, executing complex, cross-border investment, buyout and acquisition transactions.
“I remain astounded that our team was able to achieve another year of 25% growth in the face of challenging economic conditions and retrenchment in the industry as the marketplace continues to see us as the formidable global alternative to other entrenched competitors,” said Victor Boyajian, global chair of Dentons’ Venture Technology and Emerging Growth Companies practice. “With Dan joining our team – along with the other dozen partner and counsel hires in Q2 and Q3 2023 alone – the strength of our global platform and strategic vision to be at the cutting edge of innovation in the tech sector is reinforced. With New York at the forefront of global technology innovation, Dan’s arrival will only accelerate that trend for the benefit of emerging growth companies and venture capital and PE shops. We remain excited about the possibilities.”
Dentons’ top-ranked global Venture Technology and Emerging Growth Companies group continues to accelerate and gain momentum and market share despite economic headwinds. Goldberg’s arrival follows that of Bryan Natale in Boston, Matthew Gruenberg in New York, LiLing Poh in Silicon Valley, Christopher Tillson in Miami, Richard Hayes in New York, Jason Woolmer in New York, Frank Caratzola in New York and Christina Austria in Washington, DC. The strategic expansion of this practice further solidifies Dentons’ reputation as a market leader, dedicated to helping clients navigate the complex and dynamic landscape of emerging growth companies.
