Clifford Chance announces today that partner David Stringer has joined its new office in Houston. He joins Jonathan Bobinger, Jonathan Castelan, Trevor Lavelle, David H. Sweeney, Enoch Varner and Alexandra L. Wilde as the final of the batch of seven new partners in Houston. The Houston office is also staffed by partners Devika Kornbacher and Alex Leff, who relocated to Houston, and Tony Giustini, who is relocating, to support the expansion.
Stringer, who joins from Jones Day, has represented energy, chemical and petrochemical industry companies on energy transactions of more than US$50 billion in value. This includes advising on acquisitions, divestitures, infrastructure and development projects, reorganizations, carve-outs and other investments spanning businesses and assets involving clean and renewable energy facilities, refineries, LNG, specialty chemical and petrochemical plants and facilities, terminals, hydrocarbon inventories, retail stations, pipeline gathering, processing and transportation systems, and refined fuel procurement and distribution systems.
