Dentons announces today the addition of partner Timothy Bickham to its Intellectual Property and Technology practice in Washington, DC. With extensive experience in patent law and complex litigation, Bickham helps clients, including many international entities entering the US market, protect their intellectual property rights and achieve their business objectives.
Bickham will serve as head of Dentons’ China IP Litigation team. At his prior firm, he was managing director of the China Intellectual Property and Litigation group as well as managing partner of its Beijing office. Recognized as a trusted advisor for Chinese companies, Bickham represents them in patent litigation matters before US district courts and ITC. In addition to working extensively with US and Chinese clients, Bickham has also built a robust practice representing Brazilian and European companies in intellectual property matters.
With a client portfolio encompassing Fortune 100 companies and international organizations entering the US market, Bickham represents companies in US competitor litigation and coordinates international patent enforcement efforts across a wide range of industries including chemicals, electronics, medical devices, pharmaceuticals, software and telecommunications. Bickham’s experience extends to leading multi-jurisdiction litigation as well as representing clients in Section 337 claims before the US International Trade Commission (ITC).
