SNG & Partners has onboarded Gaurav Sahay as Partner to augment its Technology Practice. Gaurav, with over a decade and a half of experience in the technology sector, shall be joining the Bangalore Office of the firm, which is currently headed by Subrata Mukherjee. During the course of his professional journey, Gaurav has worked with prominent law firms in the country including Link Legal, HSA Advocates, Kochhar & Co. and Hammurabi & Solomon.Â
Welcoming the new incumbent to the Bangalore office, Rajesh Narain Gupta, Managing Partner of the firm, said, “Today, technology has forayed into every industry sector and it is hard to imagine any area that has remained unaffected due to the disruption caused by technology. As technology continues to evolve, we expect to see more disruptions and innovations in various sectors of the economy. Therefore, growing this practice has been on our mind and Gaurav seemed to be just the right fit to join the leadership team at Bangalore. Year 2023-24 is the year of expansion for us at SNG & Partners and we are keen to explore newer horizons with fresh ideas. Gaurav adds to this dimension and together, we have built a roadmap for our expansion in this area where the existing Partners will support him through his journey.”Â
Looking forward to his new role at the firm, Gaurav commented, “Technology has been an area that has my utmost commitment and I am glad that I find true alignment with all the Partners in the firm in terms of their commitment to add to this practice. There is so much happening every day in this sector which plays a pivotal role in driving economic growth and fostering innovation. As a firm, we look forward to being a part of the Innovation Economy.”
