Dentons continues to expand its Australian offering, with the announcement today of the appointment of Toby Blyth.
Toby Blyth is a Sydney-based compliance practitioner with a particular focus on the insurance sector. Toby’s practice includes expertise in digital governance, risk, regulator interaction, data protection and privacy. His appointment strengthens Dentons’ highly regarded regulatory and compliance offering.
Commenting on the appointment Toby said “Global regulatory trends are predictive of the priorities for Australian regulators. The breadth and depth of the worldwide Dentons network will be invaluable to me in providing local and global clients with analysis and advice on current and emerging risks”.
Toby’s appointment comes in addition to the six lateral partners Dentons announced on 15 September 2022 and reflects Dentons’ continued growth trajectory.

Toby’s appointment brings the number new appointments to the Dentons partnership in Australia to 13 since 1 July 2022.
Today also marks Jill Milburn’s commencement with the firm. Jill’s appointment was announced in our release to the market on 15 September 2022 and we are delighted to welcome her to the firm today.
