DLA Piper today expands its employment team with the hire of new Partner Lee Harding. Lee, previously a Partner in Morgan Lewis’s employment group, joins the firm’s London office.
A partner at Morgan Lewis since 2018, Lee’s expertise and experience spans all aspects of contentious and non-contentious employment law, including sophisticated, high stakes litigation in the Employment Tribunals and in the High Court, especially with respect to business competition cases for insurance and technology clients.
Whilst his practice is industry agnostic, Lee has notable experience advising clients in the financial services sector on the cross-over between employment and regulatory issues, especially where this relates to investigations into allegations of non-financial misconduct or whistleblowing. Lee regularly counsels on international employment needs, including global restructuring, business integration and pay equity audits, as well as advising on, negotiating, and drafting critical business protections as part of major outsourcing and other corporate transactions.
Lee Harding, joining Partner in the Employment team, adds: “ I’m excited to begin this new chapter of my career within DLA Piper’s prestigious international employment practice. In getting to know the firm, I have been highly impressed by my exceptional new colleagues, as well as the firm’s vision to be the leading global business law firm by delivering immense quality and value to our clients”
Pilar Menor, Senior Partner Madrid, and Global Co-Chair of DLA Piper’s Employment Group, comments: “With one of the world’s biggest and best employment teams operating across the globe, Lee’s experience investigating and offering strategic advice to employers on complex, global matters for large organisations will be an asset to both the practice and our clients. We are happy to welcome him into the team.”
