Linklaters has advised the AXA Logistics Europe Fund in relation to the establishment of its €2bn Euro Medium Term Note Programme. It is expected that the net proceeds of the issuance of Notes under the Euro Medium Term Note Programme will be invested by the AXA Logistics Europe Fund into Eligible Green Projects as described in its Green Finance Framework.

The London capital markets team was led by partner Elaine Keats and counsel Rory Renshaw, with support from associate Liam Jenkins. The Luxembourg capital markets team was led by partner Melinda Perera and consultant Delphine Horn. The Luxembourg investment funds team was led by partner Hermann Beythan.

Commenting on the transaction, counsel Rory Renshaw said:

“We were delighted to again assist the AXA Logistics Europe Fund in respect of their capital markets activity, following their successful inaugural standalone issuance in November last year.”

Linklaters has advised on bond issues and medium term note programmes by other real estate funds in the last 12 months, including for the AXA CoRE Europe Fund, the CBRE PEC Fund and the Prologis European Logistics Fund.

Linklaters’ green, social and sustainability-linked bond practice and experience spans its European, North American and Asian offices and draws on the support of the firm’s market-leading capital markets, investment funds, real estate, corporate, environment and climate change, energy and financial regulation practices.
