Kirkland & Ellis advised Thoma Bravo, one of the largest private equity firms in the world, on its acquisition of SailPoint Technologies Holdings, Inc. (NYSE: SAIL), the leader in enterprise identity security, for approximately $6.9 billion. SailPoint will benefit from the operating capabilities, capital support, and deep software expertise of Thoma Bravo. Upon completion of the transaction, SailPoint will become a privately held company. The transaction is expected to close in the second half of 2022, subject to customary closing conditions.
