Latham & Watkins Advises Bank Syndicate on €2 billion Credit Facility for Deutsche Lufthansa AG

Latham & Watkins LLP advised the syndicate of 28 banks on a €2 billion syndicated revolving credit facility for Deutsche Lufthansa AG. The new credit line has a term of three years plus two one-year extension options (“3+1+1” years).

HSBC Continental Europe S.A., Landesbank Baden-Württemberg and UniCredit Bank AG acted as Coordinating Bookrunners and Mandated Lead Arrangers for the transaction.

The Latham team was led by Frankfurt partner Alexandra Hagelüken with Frankfurt associate Martina Eisgruber and Hamburg associate Anna-Maria Kuckerz. Advice was also provided on tax matters by Munich counsel Ulf Kieker.
