Link Legal has expanded beyond the borders of India and opened an office in New York. Mr. Ananda Chaudhuri and Mr. Nitin Kaushik, experienced attorneys practicing in the United States, as Partners have come on board to lead this expansion. Mr. Chaudhuri will be the Managing Partner of the Link Legal office in New York. Link Legal’s Senior Partner, Anand Srivastava, who is admitted to practice in New York, will further support the US operations while continuing to be a part of the India Management team.
Link Legal will serve the needs of U.S. and Indian clients to provide strategic, innovative, and cost-effective solutions to legal and transactional issues arising in the United States, consistent with global standards of excellence. The Link Legal office in New York will deliver legal services across various practice areas including Litigation and Arbitration, Intellectual Property, Immigration Law, Commercial Contracts, Employment Contracts, and Transactional Work.
Ananda has almost two decades of experience presenting employees, investors, and entrepreneurs in high-value disputes in the United States. He has vast experience in litigating novel issues of corporate governance law and successfully represented investors and entrepreneurs in battles for corporate control.
Nitin has over 18years of extensive experience in practicing US Laws and engages frequently in matters relating to corporate advisory, commercial documentation, IPR which includes prosecution of trademarks, patents, and copyrights.
Anand who has been with the firm since inception has played a pivotal role in its growth as an Equity Partner and is dual qualified to practice in India and New York. He has completed his LLM from Columbia Law School, New York and has been recognized as a Harlan Fiske Stone Scholar and has also been awarded the Edwin Parker Certificate for International Law.
