Global law firm Dentons advised a club of banks – consisting of Česká spořitelna, Komerční banka and UniCredit Bank Czech Republic and Slovakia – on the €550 million complex refinancing of Fortuna Entertainment Group in the Czech Republic, Slovakia, Poland, Romania, Croatia and the Netherlands. In addition to this latest transaction, Dentons also advised on the original financing back in 2017 as well as on several subsequent amendments.
Prague-based Banking and Finance partner Daniel Hurych, led the multi-jurisdictional Dentons team supported by senior associate Jan Hrivnák and assocate Eva Klímová. In addition, Dentons coordinated with external counsel Šavorić & Partners (a member of the Nextlaw Referral Network), which provided legal services under Croatian law.
