Led by Frankfurt-based partner Michael Schlitt, international law firm Hogan Lovells advised TUI AG on its approximately €500 million rights issue (“Rights Issue”). In the course of the Rights Issue, approximately 500 million new shares were issued at a subscription price of €1.07. The Rights Issue was part of the €1.8 billion stabilization and support package granted by the Economic Stabilization Fund.
The new shares were admitted to listing on the Premium Listing Segment of the Official List and to trading on the Main Market for listed securities on the London Stock Exchange, as well as to listing and trading on the Regulated Market of the Hannover Stock Exchange.
