Hogan Lovells announces the appointment of Patrice Navarro as a partner in the Privacy and Cybersecurity team, effective January 1, 2021.
Patrice has 15 years of experience in data protection, cybersecurity and contracts, including IT and industrial contracts, and has worked on a wide variety of strategic agreements in the technology sector. He specializes in the Technology, Life Sciences and Finance/Insurance sectors.
With Patrice’s appointment, Hogan Lovells’ Privacy and Cybersecurity team in Paris comprises eleven lawyers, including two partners (Etienne Drouard and Patrice Navarro) within the Strategic Operations, Agreements and Regulation practice led by Mikael Salmela.
With its expert knowledge of the texts and practices, the team advises its clients on complex, multi-jurisdictional or national projects. It specializes in key industry sectors to bring strategic expertise to our clients through a thorough knowledge of their regulatory environment. Its unique experience in France enables it to defend numerous companies which are subject to investigation, formal notice or sanctions by the French data protection authority..
Patrice notably assists our clients in the health sector in relation to their innovative medicine projects, the marketing of connected medical devices and the use of artificial intelligence. He also specializes in accompanying clients in relation to security incidents and the implementation of their solutions.
