DLA Piper has advised VNV Global, a Swedish investment company, on its circa USD2 million investment (jointly with other investors) in NaPopravku, a Russian online appointment service for clinics and doctors, to develop a mobile application and expand into the regions.
With one million users per month, in NaPopravku the user can select a doctor based on reviews, compare prices and make an appointment in a private or public clinic without making a call.
The DLA Piper Moscow-based team was led by global co-chair of Emerging Growth and Venture Capital, Leo Batalov, supported by legal director Andrei Sheetkin and associate Tatiana Askarova.
