Sidley has recently advised Wavemaker Partners LLC, an early-stage venture capital firm, on the close of its oversubscribed US$111 million fund. This is its third successive fund in the Southeast Asia region, drawing new investor Concentric Equity Partners, L.P. along with existing backers including Temasek Holdings Pte, Pavilion Capital, International Finance Corp., and Vulcan Capital Management, Inc.

Wavemaker Partner is a renowned venture capital firm headquartered in Los Angeles and Singapore and has raised over US$400 million across multiple funds which focus on business-to-business startups, investing in more than 130 companies since 2012.

The Sidley team was led by Han Ming Ho, co-leader of the firm’s Asia Pacific Investment Funds practice and supported by the Investment Funds group in Singapore.
