Rumour’s on Corona: Are you doing it Right!

Coronavirus Disease named as COVID-19 it is an infectious disease that causes a respiratory illness with various symptoms such as cough, fever and in severe cases, it might lead to difficulty in breathing this disease can be caused by being in close contact with the diseased person, so to protect yourself you need to maintain a distance of about one meter from the diseased person or any suspected victim as well as you need to cover your face using a face mask and use hand sanitizer regularly to avoid the entrance of virus in your body by the openings such as face and nose. The outbreak of coronavirus has reached to one million worldwide and this counting is increasing day by day and similarly, the rumour’s on corona are spreading worldwide very rapidly like treatment of coronavirus, various techniques and methods to avoid coronavirus which are completely invalid if you carefully try to understand these methods which might lead you to the exposure of coronavirus instead of avoiding it. 

So, the point is how to protect yourself? According to WHO the do’s and don’t to protect yourself from the coronavirus are very simple the things you need to do are wash your hands regularly for about 20 seconds with soap and water, cover your mouth and nose using a face mask, Avoid close contact with the infected person and the things you need not do is don’t touch your eyes, nose, mouth if your hands are not clean and beside this, the most harmful practice is believing on fake news that is available on social media globally which might not help you to get out from this situation you need to follow the do’s and don’t suggested by the World Health Organization (WHO), not by any fake organization or a person who is not authorized to deliver such news to the public which may lead you to the exposure of coronavirus disease by such methods or techniques suggested by them like using home remedies, complete shutdown in the city, religious belief and various types of rumor which don’t lead in curing or avoiding the coronavirus disease (COVID-19). 

What is a rumor? It’s an unconfirmed or unverified message that is delivered to any victim and it keeps on circulating until it is executed the forwarding of messages on social media by any individual that may cause chaos and panic in the society is a crime under the cyber law which is being monitored by various cyber organizations. Recently all news channels, newspapers and web portal who publish news articles have been warned and asked to publish that news that is valid and verified by World Health Organization (WHO) which helps in maintaining the stability to fight against the coronavirus disease without any state of chaos in the society, follow those news articles and posts that are published by any reputed organization and before sharing or forwarding any message which is invalid or may cause any chaos in society will lead you to prosecution by the cyber law. How to be aware of Fake news or rumor? You need to follow just the guidelines of World Health Organization (WHO) and verified news by trusted news agencies, so being a good citizen of this society do what is faithful to you as well as to the society because one mistake can cost many life’s because this Coronavirus Disease (COVID-19) is Pandemic in nature and its spreading very rapidly worldwide and figures are increasing day by day so to fight with this coronavirus disease (COVID-19) let’s follow the guidelines of WHO and do the needful act that a responsible citizen should do so don’t spread any rumour stay home to stay safe and make others too.
