Milbank LLP is pleased to announce that Patrick S. Campbell, a highly experienced attorney in the connectivity, media and satellite industries, will be joining the Transportation & Space Group in the firm’s Washington, DC office. Mr. Campbell advises media, telecom and Internet companies and investors as well as foreign and domestic satellite operators and customers in regulatory, transactional, and corporate matters, and has significant experience representing communications clients before the Federal Communications Commission. In his legal career, which spans more than two decades, he has worked on a number of major transactions involving global and US-based entities such as Intelsat and SES, some of the world’s largest satellite operators.

Mr. Campbell joins Milbank from Paul, Weiss, Rifkind, Wharton & Garrison LLP, where he was head of the Communications & Technology practice. He is based in DC, where he has been for more than two decades, and sits on the boards of various DC- and Maryland-based nonprofits. He earned his B.A. degree (cum laude) from Georgetown University and his law degree (with distinction) from Stanford Law School, and served a clerkship under the Hon. Judith W. Rogers, US Court of Appeals for the DC Circuit. He was also an editor of the Stanford Law Review.
Ranked as a Hall of Fame Leading Lawyer by Legal 500 United States 2019 in the area of telecoms and broadcast transactions, Patrick has “significant experience across the telecoms space” and is a member of the Federal Communications Bar Association.
