School of Law and Governance, Central University of South Bihar has won the 7th Mahamana Malaviya National Moot Court Competition, 2019 organized in BHU from 5th-7th April, 2019.
CUSB defeated Army Institute of Law, Mohali in finals. A total of 24 teams from Law Schools all over India participated in this competition. A few prominent teams participating in this national moot were from Delhi University, Amity Law School, Delhi, NUALS, Kochi, MNLU, Aurangabad, ULC, Bangalore and Lloyd Law College, Noida.
The CUSB Team comprised of Tanay Akash, Anand Shukla and Gargi Upadhyaya. Tanay Akash is currently a research fellow working with the Legal Desire. The team has thanked their faculty members, seniors and classmates for the immense support. They have also thanked Legal Desire for providing the research materials for the moot court preparation.
The CUSB Team won this moot second time consecutively in a row. Last year, CUSB won this moot by defeating KIIT Law School, Odisha in the finals. Last year’s team consisted of Vishal Kumar Singh, Amar Vivek and Abhishek Raj. Vishal Kumar Singh is currently the Assistant Director of Operations in Legal Desire Media and Publications.
