With a successful State Level Moot Court Competition held last year in November 2017, looking to the demand of law centers in the country, RNBGU, Bikaner (Rajasthan) has undertaken to organise 2nd RNBGU National Moot Court Competition.
A legal problem facing the country at present has been made a subject to increase the legal acumen of the student of Law. A further objective is to sharpen the academic and professional excellence in the law students. The rights of the citizens of India and the sprit to protect the national interests by moving the judicial tribunals would develop in the legal fraternity. The competition also aims to provide an opportunity for law students to exhibit their skill, increase legal awareness and the skills of advocacy. This National Moot court competition shall be held from 1st Nov to 3rd Nov 2018 on the legal issues arising out of the citizenship of foreign nationals illegally migrating in a country and the requirements of National Citizenship Register.
The 2nd edition of the RNBGU National Moot Court Competition, hosted by RNB Global University, Bikaner (Rajasthan) wherein various Awards would be given;
Winner Team: Rs. 21, 000 + Trophy + Certificate
Runner Up Team: Rs. 11, 000 + Trophy + Certificate
Best Memorial: Rs. 5100
Best Researcher: Rs. 2100 + Trophy + Certificate
Best Speaker: Rs. 2100 + Trophy + Certificate
Participation Certificate to every participant. Facilities of food & accommodation will be provided to all team participants.
Dates of Competition 1st – 3rd November 2018
Venue of Competition RNB Global University, Bikaner
The last date of receipt of registration form and fees is 08 October 2018.The teams are required to send memorials on or before 15 October 2018. The competition is rigorous as the qualifying teams of equal caliber compete against each other in multiple oral rounds.
Spread over 3 days, the oral rounds comprise eliminations on the first day out of which 8 teams make it through to the quarterfinals. Both the quarter and semi-finals are held on the second day and the best two teams qualify for the final rounds.
The prizes are provided for the best team, runners-up Team, best memorial, best Researcher and best speaker. The rounds are evaluated by advocates and judges from the district and high courts of Rajasthan and nearby areas.
