The acting chief justice records in his order submissions made by DMK organising secretary RS Bharathi in his affidavit seeking place in Marina for Karunanidhi. State governement, in its counter affidavit, says DMK cannot challenge a press release issued by government expressing inability to allot space at Marina for Karunanidhi. “M Karunanidhi himself did not allot Marina for Janaki Ramachandran after understanding the protocol manual when he was the Chief Minister,” says Tamil Nadu’s counter affidavit.
