On Friday, the Delhi High Court has notified that the lawyers and litigants-in-person will now be provided with details of defects in their cases via email in addition to the SMS alerts that are currently sent out.
In order to avail this facility, the lawyers and litigants in person are required to register themselves with the e-filing software. The registration facility is available at the e-Filing Centre- I, Room No.- 4,  Ground Floor, Lawyer’s Chambers Block-1, Delhi High Court.
The lawyers and litigants are required to register their e-mail and mobile number, in order to get requisite information via e-mail and SMS.
For registration, the lawyers are required to submit self-attested photocopy of proof of address and proof of identity.
