In only three years of its establishment it has been rated as ‘A’ Grade institute by Indraprastha University, which is extremely rare and it usually takes five to six years.
At DME, we extend first rate infrastructure with strong academic facilities to provide a dynamic and clinical grounding for success. The courses being taught here are:

Priya: What was the main aim behind establishing law school and how is it different from other law schools?
Dr. Dutt: The main aim of sunshine education and welfare society is to be able to give back and take forward the blessings it has received in terms of success in its others business ventures. DME has faculty that is probably unmatched anywhere in Delhi. Most of the teachers are national law university post graduates, the director is very senior retired judge, Hon’ble Mr. Justice Bhanwar Singh and the advisory board includes Hon’ble Mr. Justice M.Y Eqbal (former judge of Supreme Court of India), Hon’ble Mr. Justice Devendra Kumar Arora (Judge, Lucknow Bench, Allahabad High Court), Hon’ble Mr. Justice S.N. Shukla (Judge, Lucknow Bench, Allahabad High Court), Prof. N. Balu and Prof. S.P.Singh.
Additionally, Adjunct faculty includes, former law minister Mr. Salman khurshid regularly, at least once in semester visits and gives lectures. Additionally college runs Hon’ble Mr. Justice V.R. Krishna Iyer memorial lecture series, and very eminent legal personalities interact with our students. Co- Scholastic activities include moot court, MUN, news letter and very soon we will launch our law journal. Mr. Kush Kalra assistant professor is in Limca books for writing nine law books in a year.
Priya: How is your university imparting practical knowledge to students apart from academic knowledge?
Dr. Dutt: The students gets opportunity to participate in legal seminars, legal discussions with eminent personalities. College also organizes moot courts, Model United Nation Conferences and various other activities so that student can experience or real legal world. And without any doubt we have a wonderful library with online SCC and soon getting manupatra.
The most important thing that we are starting this year is student exchange programme with foreign universities, talks are at very advance d age with one university in USA , a couple of universities in UK, one in Denmark and another in Singapore. Additionally our student gets opportunities for internship with high court judges, district judges, consumer forum, NGT and leading firms and senior advocates.
Priya: How do you ensure that your students are on the right path towards a successful professional?
Dr. Dutt: This is a value question and DME have high stress on values. The best example is that ever since its inception, there has not been even a single case of gender discrimination, or eve-teasing or not even a ragging incident has taken place. Special lectures by eminent personalities of various field including religious thinkers , debates, excursions and a mentoring system through class mentors facilitates proper guidance.
Priya: Describe about future career prospective, tie-ups and placements?
Dr. Dutt: We feel that it is very important to not only prepare lawyers but even to prepare judges. So a dynamic internship programme – this year a full fledge internship programme is established to ensure good placements and careers.
Priya: Your message to our readers.
Dr. Dutt: “Learn to pull and be a leader. Don’t merely push and shout to be a manager and believe in yourself.”
