Amity Law School, Centre II, Noida is going to organize the 2nd Amity National MED-ARB Competition, 2015. Amity Law School cordially invites students from all Law Colleges to participate in a mind boggling and brain storming Session.

Aim and Purpose:
The attempt of conducting the MED-ARB Competition is to provide a congenial analytical platform for the students to test their ability to mediate and arbitrate a legal dispute.
Eligibility:
- All students currently enrolled in three year or five year LL.B. degree in any Law School / College / University in India, are eligible to participate in the Competition.
- Any recognized Institution / College / University shall be entitled to send only two teams for the Competition.
Team Composition:
- The Participants can opt for either team registration or individual registration.
- Team Registration: Maximum 2 students can participate as a team out of which one will act as a Mediator and the other one as an Arbitrator. Teams shall identify such speakers as Mediators and Arbitrators at the time of registration.
- Individual Registration: An individual can also participate in the event but in such a case such individual needs to mediate the dispute first and failing the process of mediation, he shall resort to the process of Arbitration and try his level best to resolve the dispute peacefully between the parties.
- The above mentioned number cannot be modified under any circumstances.
- Teams shall not disclose their identity or that of their Institution or city at any time before or during the Competition. Such disclosure shall invite penalties including disqualification. The decision for the same shall rest at the discretion of the Organizer.
- Any additional Member or Team Coach of any Team shall not be recognized and will not be entitled to a certificate from the Amity Law School, Centre-II.
Registration:
Each team can register provisionally by emailing on als2.medarb@gmail.com marked as “Registration: 2nd Amity National MED-ARB Competition, 2015” as the subject. Registration is strictly on first come first served basis and the seats are limited to 50.
To complete the process of registration, all participating teams are required to submit the complete registration form, duly signed and stamped by the Head of Institution / Principal / Head of Department along with the Demand Draft (DD) in favour of Amity University, Uttar Pradesh, payable at Noida.

In case of online registration, the participants can mail the scanned copy of Demand Draft and the complete registration form duly signed and stamped by the Head of Institution / Principal / Head of Department on als2.medarb@gmail.com.
Registration Fee:
- Rs 1000 per Student
- Rs. 1500 for a Team of two Students
Hospitality:
- No accommodation and transport will be provided to the participants.
- Breakfast, Lunch and Evening Snacks to the participating teams will be provided by Amity Law School, Center II on the day of the event.
Deadline:
The last date for online registration is 25th August, 2015.
